UX/UI Work

Roommate App - ApartMate

This is a prototype of an app that will help you find a good roommate to share your accommodation or accommodation with someone who is looking to share. This was based in Dublin and developed with the housing shortage in mind.

Fitness App - App-Lete

This is a prototype of an app aimed people who work irregular hours to achieve their fitness and diet goals from home with an experience tailored exclusively to them like they would experience in a gym. It is designed to suit people with all levels of fitness with advice from real personal trainers. The creation of this prototype was done on an iterative process.

Paper Prototype

After the discussions with the PT and participants I sketched out a paper prototype in order to get a better feel for how the app would feel and flow. It is also necessary to do this in order to communicate ideas and as a form of basic usability testing. The images were hand drawn with different flows shown to articulate the different features of the app.

The Personal Trainer and the Participants were presented with the prototype and asked to navigate different tasks.

Medium Fidelity Prototype

Taking the feedback on the paper prototype into consideration I moved on to creating a digital medium fidelity prototype. This is to help bring the project along to help with the final build.

There was the addition of a questionnaire at the beginning of the app when signing up this helps take the pressure off the user to try figure out what should go into the extra information text box. It also helps to further streamline the app. An allergens text box was added as there is an extensive number of them and to have them all listed would take up too much space. Information was added underneath the videos with all the relevant information provided along with the video upon upload. There was also further development in the design and layout of the app.
